Care Animal Hospital established a special account to fund procedures for animals who have no owners. The fund, called "Care For Strays," officially began in December of 1997. Although the staff and doctors have cared for such animals in the past, this fund was created so that more animals could be treated. This fund allows us to offer medical and surgical care for animals that otherwise would not be treated. The funds are used to provide examinations, vaccinations, blood tests, surgeries, dental prophylaxis, emergency care, and food. Following their recovery, suitable homes are found for them. Occasionally, we hold fundraisers for this fund. In the past, we have sold calendars, and two different cookbooks. Right now, we are selling a pet first-aid kit to keep at home. We also sell used carriers that have been donated to us. We accept donations as well. Checks can be made out to "Care For Strays" and sent to us at 8044 Kipling St, Arvada, CO, 80005. Below is a list of animals that have benefited from this fund. Click on their names to learn more about their stories!
