Our Accomplishments

Care Animal Hospital was voted Best of Jeffco for veterinary care in 2011!

Care Animal Hospital has been recognized by Veterinary Economics magazine as a Practice of Excellence. The Practice of Excellence program recognizes practices that provide exceptional customer service, medical care and personnel programs. This is an internationally recognized designation.

Dr. Joyce Clark was nominated for the Veterinarian of the Year award in 2009.

Each year, Care Animal Hospital sponsors high school students who are part of the Jefferson County Executive Intern program. This program allows high school students aged 16 and older to work in a veterinary practice. Our interns are active! In addition to helping us provide the very best care for patients, they observe doctors in our exam rooms and even watch advanced surgical procedures! Interns spend 100 hours at Care Animal Hospital through the program; after this time period, they may elect to continue volunteer service with the hospital.

Care Animal Hospital is regularly recongnized for its extensive animal rescue work in the Arvada Sentinel. In cooperation with Lucky Paws Rescue, Care Animal Hospital houses and helps to adopt stray cats and kittens. Additionally, several staff members have taken these cats into their personal homes to provide additional foster space. Ask us about our current kittens!

Care Animal Hospital doctors and staff donate their time and personal funds to many charitable organizations!

Certified Veterinary Technician Jennifer Keel has received advanced training in dental care.
