Emergencies

We see most patients by appointment during our regular business hours. Please call us at 303-421-8200 if you need our services urgently and we will do our best to work you into our schedule. After normal business hours, please call an emergency facility.

If your pet is experiencing any of the following problems, you should seek urgent care:

• Fever
• Lethargy
• Stumbling/moving strangely
• Vomiting (please bring in a sample), especially after ingesting a possibly toxic substance
• Severe diarrhea (please bring in a sample)
• Problems breathing; in cats, open mouth breathing
• Straining to urinate or defecate
• Losing large amounts of blood
