About Grooming at Care Animal Hospital

We do not have a groomer at our hospital; however, if your pet is here for an exam and needs to have some hair clipped away for cleanliness OR if you have a pet who requires sedation to be groomed, we can help! Give us a call and ask us for more details. 

We regularly trim pet toe nails at our hospital. We can either trim them for you or we can show you how to do this. Just ask us if you would like to learn! Your pet's doctor or a highly trained staff member will help you pick supplies and show you how to get started on toe nail trimming at home. 

Additionally, we perform anal sac expression on a regular basis. We can do this at a 15-minute technician appointment or during your pet's scheduled exam with a doctor. Your pet may need to have its anal sacs expressed if you see carpet scooting, excessive back end licking, or if you suddenly smell a foul, unfamiliar odor.
