A
lifetime of loving critters led me to the position of receptionist on
the Care Animal Hospital staff in 1990. In addition to my front desk
duties, I also assist with bookkeeping and administrative tasks. In the
past, I have also served as an Exam Room Assistant.
My home is near Arvada, southwest of Standley Lake. My husband, Ken, and I live in the country so we are able to have a variety of animals. Over the years we have had ducks, geese, pheasants, quail, doves and other exotic birds. We still have many doves - what beautiful, gentle creatures! We have also owned horses and pygmy goats.

We have three dogs, Brady, Roka and Brie. Brady is a Miniature Schnauzer and Roka is a Blue Merle Sheltie. Both dogs are graduates of Ted Terroux obedience classes. Roka enjoys the sport of dog agility. Brie is a tiny sable sheltie. She likes agility, too.

Our cats are best friends and enjoy each other's company. Wildflower is a Bengal cat. She is the clown of the family. Zima was a homeless stray who found her way into our lives. She is my lap cat.
