Jordyn ultimately pursued veterinary medicine to foster the human-animal bond. She has dreamed of becoming a veterinarian for as long as she can remember—her mom even saved multiple elementary school projects that repeat this aspiration over the years.

She grew up in Carl Junction, Missouri, a small town outside of Joplin. Jordyn earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science with a Companion Animal minor and a Companion Animal Management certificate from Missouri State University, where she was also a Cross Country and Track & Field athlete. In 2020, Jordyn and her husband moved to Colorado, where they quickly fell in love with the state's beauty and lifestyle. She earned her veterinary degree from Colorado State University, and they knew Colorado would be their forever home. They currently share this home with their long-term foster cat, the sweetest boy named Tolkien.

Jordyn’s special interests include feline medicine and dermatology. In her free time, she enjoys running, sharing coffee and brews with friends, playing soccer, skiing, and snuggling on the couch with Tolkien.
