Sheila is one of the newest additions to our Care team! She joined us in May of 2019. Sheila is a Colorado Native from the Denver area. She has always had a passion for animals, especially those in need. She knew her whole life that she needed to work with animals in some way. She attended the Veterinary Assistant program with Pima Medical Institute in 2004 but did not begin her career in the veterinary field until 2012.

She started out as a client service coordinator and then was cross-trained for two months before she received the option to take the position of Veterinary Assistant. Shortly after, she moved to another location where she achieved the title of Veterinary Technician.

After nearly 7 years, Sheila decided it was time to explore other opportunities and joined us here at Care Animal Hospital! Although caring for and loving animals is the primary goal for her every day, Sheila also loves music, spending time with her own two doggies, family, and friends, cooking, and doing outdoor activities such as skiing, camping, and riding dirt bikes. Sheila is very excited about meeting and bonding with all of our patients and clients!
